## Who is Rachelle Starr?
Rachelle Starr is an author, speaker, podcast host, and the founder of Scarlet Hope — a faith-based nonprofit ministry serving women in the adult entertainment industry. Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Rachelle has spent more than 15 years bringing hope, meals, and the gospel to women trapped in exploitation and trafficking. She also serves as President of Freedom Signal (https://freedomsignal.org), a technology company that helps identify and reach exploited and trafficked individuals.

## Scarlet Hope
Rachelle felt called at age 21 to minister to women in adult entertainment venues. After an 18-month season of prayer, she and several friends began bringing home-cooked meals to women in a club in 2008; by the following year they were serving hundreds of meals a week across Louisville, and Scarlet Hope was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The ministry has since served more than 1 million meals and now operates in cities across the United States. Website: https://scarlethope.org

## Book: Outrageous Obedience
Rachelle is the author of "Outrageous Obedience: Answering God's Call to Shine in the Darkest Places" (Bethany House Publishers, 2022, ISBN 9780764240362). The book tells the story of how God called her to minister in strip clubs at twenty-three and what happened when she said yes.
